Who Am I? (3)
You choose only what you believe is possible to choose, and these choices determine what you do with your life and who you become. If you believe you are shy, for instance, you will not choose to be a performer, even if your talent and inner desire are obvious. If you believe you aren't a good student, you may not choose a course of study that could lead you to the job you'd really like. It is very important, then, to know the absolute truth about yourself and your capabilities.
The purpose of this book is to show you that you may have made limited choices based on limited information about yourself. So we are here together to ask the question, Who am I -- really!
If your're satisfied with your life at this moment, the question may hold no interest for you right now. But if, on the other hand, you find yourself holding dreams that feel so true, yet somehow out of reach, if you feel unfulfilled, frustrated, alienated, empty, if you feel you haven't done what you want, if there is more that you desire, more that you want to accomplish, if you feel that even thought your life is satisfactory in most respects you nevertheless have a yearning to realize a deeper sense of joy, peace, and purpose, it is time to extend your vision of who you are.
No matter who you are, no matter where you are, no matter what obstacles and limitations exist around you at this moment, you can change your life, your health, and your state of mind completely. You can decide who you want to become.
